Print Restaurant will be hosting the release party for Charlotte Druckman’s new book Skirt Steak: Female Chefs on Standing the Heat and Staying in the Kitchen (Chronicle Books) on Monday, October 15th.
Skirt Steak takes us deep into the world of more than 70 of the most brilliant female chefs working today. The book includes stories from our former pastry chef Heather Carlucci, as well as Momofuku pastry chef Christina Tosi, Alice Waters, Beth Aretsky, and more. In the restaurant world where only the strong prevail, their experiences are recipes for survival.
Six of New York City’s top female chefs will come together at PRINT. to cook six courses to benefit Chef Gina DePalma’s Cowgirl Cure Foundation for cancer research. The chef round-up includes Christina Tosi/Momofuku Milk Bar, Lauren Resler/Empellon Cocina, Elizabeth Falkner/Krescendo, Heather Carlucci/Print, Chloe Lasseron/All Good Things, Kieran Baldwin/The Dutch.
The dinner takes place at the Press Lounge and includes wine, a copy of Skirt Steak and the best rooftop view of New York City.
Dinner begins on October 15th at 7 pm sharp and costs $150 (+tax and tip) per person.
